We are so proud to have launched Plantui in Japan on 5th November together with our excellent trading partner DKSH Japan. Our launch event in Tokyo was a great success and we can’t wait to see the Plantui Smart Garden in the first retail stores. The target is to have 40 points of sale (POS) in Japan next year. Our team Janne (Design and background to Plantui), Catarina (Plantui 6 set-up demo) and Timo (Business proposal for retailers) truly enjoyed the launch event, which was prepared by DKSH Japan in every detail and was implemented in a very tasteful setting at a flower shop in Tokyo.

Plantui’s first three POS in Tokyo are opening in mid-November.

Living Motif – upmarket design shop
Isetan – luxury department store
Tsutaya – Bookstore & Design shop

In early February we will launch the Moomin Garden in Japan in co-operation with Moomin Characters. The launch is much awaited by our retail customers and will be highlighted by a separate event at the Finnish Embassy in Tokyo and on the premises of our premier retailers.

We have also launched our website in Japanese – please check it out on www.plantui.jp.

We look forward to a real surge of our sales in Japan and the forthcoming launch of the Moomin Garden in February.

Arigatou gozaimasu – Thank you very much!

Silke Hofmann

Hi there! My name is Silke, and I'm a Sales Manager with a passion for social media marketing at Plantui. I enjoy travelling, new cultures and I'm interested in healthy foods and sports. Especially running outdoors clears my head and gets me ready for new challenges. Honestly speaking, I'm a typical plant killer, but love to grow my own herbs: I know they are free of any chemical treatment and I can add them to my (not always) successful cooking efforts knowing I'll do something good for myself. Tatsoi became my new Asian favorite, I could eat it almost every day!
