In Plantui we have always relied on the best source of product development – our customers – when it came to developing new plants to be grown indoors in a table-top garden.
Our plant experts will do their job in finding the best possible seeds, and then, together with our global Experimental club members we test the seeds simultaneously in many different environments and collect a lot of data. Valuable co-creation with our community will enable us to expand our portfolio faster and bring better seeds to market for all Plantui gardeners to enjoy.
We have +100 active Experimental Club members around the world. Anyone can become part of this group! There’s no need to be an expert, just to be curious to experiment and share your experience with the community! Together we have already tested several Chilies (Jalopeno, Birds Eye Baby and Medusa), and for fall 2022 we are launching another interesting Chili experiment: Purple Pumpkin!
We source the seeds sustainably from our trusted partner, a Finnish Chili Expert, Fatali Seeds, and deliver the seeds to our customers globally.

ABOUT PURPLE PUMPKIN: Purple pumpkin is a crispy, mildly spicy chilly, with sweet & peppery aroma and flavor. The chili pods look like little pumpkins with a stunning purple color at the beginning, then they ripen going through some amazing changes in color, until they turn red when they are ready to be used.
