More info & Curiosity:
The first celery herb leaves will show out from the capsules in less than 2 weeks from planting, during the first month it might grow slowly, but after that it speed up and grow quite tall. You can start to eat the outermost stalks with their leaves when they are about 10 centimeters long, the plant will keep on growing from the inside of the rosette. The plant stays healthy for few months, but the stalks start to get hard as they aged, so if you forget your celery herb for too long, consider cooking it or using only the leaves.
This might sound surprising since in other variety of celery (Apium) only the stalks are used, but that’s why this variety has the word “leaves” in the name.
