Snapdragon
Antirrhinum Majus
This lovely, multi–coloured flower is the perfect decoration for any pastry.
Snapdragon is aptly named as it looks like a dragon with its mouth open. Try squeezing the flower between your fingers and you will notice the resemblance!

Snapdragons germinate in about two weeks. After that, the growth of leaves speeds up. Snapdragon starts flowering about 6 weeks after sowing.
To ensure long and abundant flowering, we recommend using the Blooming Light Block. Place it at the same level with the buds and flowers.
Flowers should be picked no later than a few days after they have opened. Use the flowers soon after picking, since they will wither quickly. If you pick the flowers but do not use them immediately, they will keep for a few days in a cool place, protected from light in an airtight container.
Cut off any withered flowers to allow the snapdragon to grow new ones. When all the flowers in one branch have been used, cut off the whole branch and new branches will grow.
