1. General Terms and Conditions
www.plantui.com is the marketplace of Plantui Oy (2489457-1). These terms and conditions apply to the trade relationship between Plantui Oy and its customers. Plantui Oy has the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice. Contract terms are applied from the moment an order is placed, and are available to read on the Plantui Oy website.

Plantui Oy will not be liable for any damages resulting from force majeure. Force majeure is deemed to be an unforeseeable event or change in circumstances outside the sphere of control or not considered to be the responsibility of Plantui Oy. Plantui Oy is obligated to inform the customer, without delay, of any related incidence of force majeure.

2. Customer and Data Protection
Plantui Oy welcomes all private and corporate customers. The trade relationship as stated herein complies with the applicable Finnish and EU legislation on consumer trade, marketing and advertising. The trade agreement between corporate customers and Plantui Oy should adhere to these terms and conditions and then with the Finnish Trade Act in all other respects.

When placing an order, a private customer is obliged to provide his complete contact information, which must include at least the name, address and telephone number of the customer and, if applicable, an email address. The information required from corporate customers includes the name and telephone number of the contact person, as well as the e-mail and business ID, postal address, telephone number or numbers and, if applicable, the billing address.

Customer information is stored in Plantui Oy’s customer register, where the information is used for maintaining the customer relationship. Plantui Oy also has the right to process and transfer information contained in the register when suitable for legitimate purposes (such as direct marketing) and in accordance with governing legislation.

The data protection policy compliant with the data protection regulation is available at https://plantui.com/info/plantui-oy/privacy-policy/. It is the right of the customer to prohibit the use and processing of their own data for marketing purposes and to check what information about the customer is being stored by contacting the customer service of Plantui Oy. Requests must be made in writing and signed by the customer, and sent to the address: Plantui Oy, Köydenpunojankatu 14, 20100 Turku. See the data protection policy for further information.

The Plantui Oy website uses cookies to help develop the website and make it more user-friendly. At Plantui Oy, the purposes of cookies are to facilitate, improve and speed up the customer experience. Cookies can also be used to provide the customer with better offers and more personalised product recommendations. A cookie is a small text file that the Plantui Oy web server stores on the user’s device. Some of the Plantui Oy website content may require cookies to work. The user’s web browser will probably accept cookies with predefined default settings, but the user can also block the use of these cookies through the browser settings on the device or by deleting cookies from the browser after a transaction or visit is complete. 3. Communication
After purchase, the customer may be sent instructions on how to use the product as well as a customer satisfaction survey, at which point an email address is added to the order.

Answering the customer satisfaction survey is voluntary. Customer satisfaction survey results are used in accordance with data protection regulations, for the development of Plantui Oy customer experience, products and service. The survey results are not published in a format from which individuals are identifiable, nor is any of customer’s contact information displayed publicly in the results. It is possible to leave the communication list via the link at the end of the product instructional message.

4. Price List
Prices include VAT but not delivery costs, unless otherwise stated. If there are clear price errors in the price list, the product will not be sold at a significantly lower price if it can be reasonably assumed the customer could understand the existence of the error.

We always check prices at the time of processing. When the price decreases, we correct the prices for the customer in their open order. On the other hand, if the price of the product rises before the order is shipped, we will deliver them at the original price.

Plantui Oy reserves the right to restrict the sale of products in exceptionally large batches. The Plantui Oy online store (www.plantui.com) does not sell its products for resale.

5. Delivery
Plantui Oy offers comprehensive delivery options. You can read more about delivery methods and the content of our services on our website. Plantui Oy’s shopping cart automatically takes into account delivery offers. Single order products can be delivered in multiple shipments. A completed order is processed within two working days of receiving confirmation of the order.

A completed order means an order for which all products are reserved and in our warehouse, and the payment transaction for the order has been accepted. Plantui Oy is not obliged to reserve other products of the same order to the customer, if the availability of the product is limited, or its delivery is delayed for reasons beyond Plantui Oy’s control.

Alternatively, the customer may accept either a delayed delivery of the product or an order cancellation. After delivery, postage will be charged as normal according to the price list. The products in the order are reserved for a maximum of 7 days, after which the order is canceled unless the customer has agreed to a delayed delivery in accordance with the terms of Plantui Oy.

6. Payment
Current information on payment methods can be found on the Plantui Oy website. Corporate customers have the opportunity to apply for client invoicing through our corporate sales. For more information please email to hi@plantui.com.

Klarna Pay Now, Pay Later, and Pilko payments are methods of payment offered by Klarna AB.

Detailed descriptions of credit and information about the lender are specified in the shopping cart as required by law.

7. Returns
Plantui Oy offers its customers a 14-day exchange and right of return. An exchange or return of a product must be agreed in advance with Plantui Oy by e-mailing to hi@plantui.com. The contact number and the word “RETURN” must be included in the email message. We will then provide instructions for the return. Plantui Oy is responsible for the costs of return when the return has been made in accordance with the given instructions. The customer has a right to explore the product and use it for 14 days. We highly recommend taking good care of the product, accessories, supplies, instructions, and product packaging that come with it, until a decision has been made about keeping the product. The customer is legally liable for any damage if the product has been taken into use.

We ask you to carefully keep all documents related to customer returns, until you have received notice of receipt of the refund from Plantui Oy. Returned products must be carefully repackaged. Plantui Oy will reimburse all payments received from the customer for the returned products, including any delivery costs, without delay and no later than 14 days after the company has received the returned products or until the customer has demonstrated the return of the products. Plantui Oy will provide a refund via the same method of payment by which the customer paid for the original order. For orders made with bank ID payments, the customer must notify their account holding bank so that the refund can be made.

8. Warranty, Support and Liability for Defects
Plantui Oy grants a 2-year warranty on its products. Customers are required to review the product warranty conditions provided before using the product. The warranty covers defects in the product manufacturing and materials. Warranty repairs are always made by Plantui Oy or by the importer in accordance with the warranty conditions. For matters concerning warranty, please contact hi@plantui.com by email, and to any other address provided by your product reseller. Our repair service will keep the products for three (3) months for the customer after the service/work is completed and notification of such has been submitted. The product is then recycled. (In accordance with the law permitting a seller the right to resell items not collected by the customer)

9. Complaints
The customer is obliged to present a proof of purchase, receipt or other proof of place of purchase at the time of return or when claiming a defect in the goods. Plantui Oy reserves the right to charge the buyer for the cost of searching for the receipt.

Complaints will only be processed in writing. A free-form complaint can be submitted either by email to hi@plantui.com or by letter to the Plantui Oy office.

Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction: The customer has the right to submit a dispute arising  from the agreement for resolution by the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the customer must first contact the Consumer Advisory Services (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). The customer also has access to the tools maintained by the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (http://ec.europa.eu/odr). The customer can bring action against Plantui Oy for disputes arising from the contractual agreement with either Plantui Oy’s own district court or in the district court of Finland in which the customer resides. If the customer does not reside in Finland, all disputes will be settled by the district court in which Plantui Oy is domiciled.

There is no need for reimbursement of legal fees as neither the Consumer Advisory Service nor the Consumer Disputes Board charge for their assistance in resolving disputes.

10. Additional Terms for Business Customers
Plantui Oy is not liable for any loss, damage or loss of income caused directly or indirectly by the product and/or service. The liability of Plantui Oy is always limited to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract. Product liability is limited to the reimbursement of the purchase price minus the operating benefit.

The physical opening of the product to modify the device will void the warranty and the seller’s liability unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer. Our service will retain the products for three (3) months for the customer after the service/work is completed and notification of such has been submitted. The product is then recycled.

Plantui Oy is not obliged to fulfill the contract if it encounters a force majeure which is outside the reasonable sphere of control of Plantui Oy. Plantui Oy is not obliged to compensate the customer for damage or costs resulting from force majeure, and is entitled to terminate the agreement.

By submitting an order and/or a request for quotation, the customer unequivocally accepts Plantui Oy terms and conditions. Any contract terms used by the customer will not be complied with should they conflict with the terms and conditions of Plantui Oy’s own contract.
